Members will miss his quick humor, and his “guns up” for his beloved Texas Tech
Gary first visited Rotary North on May 1st, 2009. PDG Tom Sherriff advised that Gary's father-in-law had been a long-time Rotarian and he wanted to see what Rotary was all about. Four months and a week later the then club President, Keith Jenkins formally inducted Gary into the Rotary Club of Wichita Falls North on September 11th, 2009.
He remained a Rotarian for life.
Gary served his Rotary Club as President during the 2015-16 Rotary year.
He was a faithful supporter of The Rotary Foundation. Rotary recognized Gary as a multiple Paul Harris Fellow.
Gary was a good friend to all who knew him.
PDG Tom first met Gary when he was the City Attorney for Lakeside City while Tom served as a member of the Lakeside City Council. Gary will be truly missed by all who knew him. Rotary North members will miss his quick wit, his humor, and his “guns up” for his beloved Texas Tech. No one will forget the “cheese head hats” that he would wear when the Packers beat the Cowboys.
We will keep Gary’s family in our thoughts and prayers.
