Noble Prize-winning author George Gestschow speaks about fellow Noble Prize winner Larry McMurty at the Jan 3rd Meeting.
Larry McMurty, the beloved author of Lonesome Dove and neighbor from nearby Anchor City, Texas passed away Sep 12, 2023. Friend and fellow author Georg Getschow has since embarked on establishing the Larry McMurty Memorial Library. The library held it's Grand Opening recently. Mr. Getschow provided an exciting overview of what members can find when they visit.
