Judy Muir from “Coats fort Kids” a long time chairperson for the “Coats for Kids” program sponsored by the First Christian Church of Wichita Falls provided a compelling program for our members and guests.
The Mary Sue Winstead Memorial Coats for Kids through “Partners in Education” provides new coats for elementary students. Each year WFISD teachers and counselors are asked to provide information on students most in need of a coat. It is our goal to fill every coat request and deliver the coats to the children by Thanksgiving. Coats for Kids is funded solely by donations. The average cost is $25 per coat.
