Jeani was in charge of the program and made arrangements for Deputy Melvin Joyner to give us a tour of the new facility.

The facility is 189,000 square feet. It is BIG! The tour normally takes 2 ½ hours. Ours was a fast paced tour in 1 hour. The facility is designed to have a capacity of 770 inmates.
It is hoped that the facility will be on line by the end of July. The jail is operated on a reward type of operation. The better the inmate, the more privileges they get.
