Club members met at the Children's Aid Society facility in place of our customary meeting location on October 31st.
After members were given a tour of the outstanding facilities, Lisa Choate, the Program Director for Children's Aid, provided a presentation about the services that the Children’s Aid Society provides.
In her presentation, Lisa explained some of the difficulties that they can encounter. One such difficulty was a family from Romania. There were no translators available!
Our off-campus meeting adventure was an extremely rewarding event for all involved.
