District Governor Dan Steele started his presentation with a discussion of our 2020-2021 Rotary Theme, Imagine Rotary. The theme logo was designed by a member of the aboriginal tribe from Australia where the May 27-31, 2023 Rotary International convention.
DG Dan, encouraged us all as he discussed Rotary International President Jennifer Jones's big dream. Jones, a member of the Rotary Club of Windsor-Roseland, Ontario, Canada, and the 1st female president of Rotary International revealed the 2022-23 presidential theme, Imagine Rotary, as she urged people to dream big and harness their connections and the power of Rotary to turn those dreams into reality. RI President Jennifer's dream includes a more diverse, equitable and inclusive world led by Rotarians throughout the world.
Dan has a goal for matching President Jennifer's goal of leading the search for right parts for our clubs for our district. Quoting our RI President, "For Rotary, “finding the right ‘part’ to engage each member should be our core function,” and “It comes down to the comfort and care of our members.”"
