Members of the three Rotary clubs in Wichita Falls joined Tuesday’s November 16, 2021 City Council meeting to present a check for $53,000 to Mayor Stephen Santellana.

Wichita Falls North joined the Rotary club of Wichita Falls Southwest and the Wichita Falls Rotary Club in a campaign to raise funds for Playground equipment at the corner of Hughes and, by Boys and Girls Club and Cunningham Elementary.

Mayor Stephen Santellana shared, “This is exciting as the City is challenged for funds.  Last week had a meeting about playground equipment. Thank you for these civic service organizations that have adopted parks – Rotary, Lions, Kiwanis, Medical, Optimist, that do so much for Wichita Falls.”

I tell citizens, “You want to get involved, join a civics service organization.” This great amenity at Rotary Park will be heavily used.  I know every single Rotarian behind me; they do so many great things for Wichita Falls.  I hope this encourages other groups to do similar things. Helps the kids to have new park equipment to play on.
